The Krauss-Maffei Plate Dryer is featured on the cover of the April 2008 issue of Powder & Bulk Engineering to enhance their issue on Drying. The Krauss-Maffei Plate Dryer continuously and gently dries free-flowing powders and heat-sensitive, toxic, or solvent-wet materials in a controlled environment. The Plate Dryer operates as a conduction dryer to remove water or solvent vapors using little carrier gas, minimizing dust carryover, also controlling exact drying temperatures on each plate to provide very high final product quality. The Krauss-Maffei Plate Dryer is available as an atmospheric, gas-tight, or vacuum model with heat-transfer areas up to 2,160 square feet.
